Overview: Nova is a warrior, but he serves no master. He fights and kills only to survive in the war stricken post-apocalyptic world. In order to help himself stay ahead in these times, he had his body modified with two manually implanted and neurologically controlled robotic tentacles that protrude from his back while he was in The Pit: A large and dangerous arena-style fight ring that no one ever comes out of. It's a horrible and dark place full of murder, rape and other hellish deeds. Nova was in the Pit as a fighter for almost three years before he managed to escape. His extra limbs are very helpful in battle; their ability to lift up to five hundred pounds make him a dangerous opponent. The downside to these extra robotic limbs is that they run on battery power which is hard to come by and when said power is used up the tentacles become dead weight, hindering his movements. His primary weapons usually change between small wrist mounted laser pistols to larger and more powerful .50 caliber sniper rifles. He always carries a short sword with him as a secondary weapon. Nova is very street smart and is an excellent tactician. Nova refrains from most forms of relationships and only has a few acquaintances. 

Personality: Normally very monotone and gives short answer replies. He isn't very friendly and thinks that most conversations are pointless. He isn't inherently cruel, he just bases his choices off of logic rather than emotion. Once he gets to know someone and has been proven to that they are trust worthy, he will start to converse with them a lot more. Sometimes he's even been known to let a few select people peek through the cracks of his hardened exterior to see a man who actually does care about what happens to the people he comes to know.

Appearance: Though almost always armor clad, Nova does have a human body beneath the metal. His eyes are grey and his black hair is kept cut short and out of the way. His facial hair is only cut when it becomes a hassle, so black stubble is almost always present. Nova stands about 6'1" out of his armor and weighs around 190lbs, so he is well built but not bulky by any means. One side of his face was horribly burned by a grenade that went off before he got his armor in the Pit.

Strengths: Robotic tentacles, tactical and logical mind, good knowledge of many firearms, armor enhanced with built in heat sensing scope, temperature regulator and air filtration system.

Weaknesses: Robotic tentacles (when out of battery power), OCD tendencies, lack of great speed while armored, inability to trust others, addicted to painkillers
